i hope that they both pull off great performances because i would hate for either of these fighters to leave the UFC they are top competitors in the sport keep them around.

Judging by the look of his appearance at the wigh-in, Akiyama looks to be coming into this fight in good shape. Although, it will interesting to see how his conditioning holds up after dropping down a weight class and taking on a natural welterweight like Shields.
I've got Shields winning this by decision, but a late submission is quite possible if Akiyama gasses and leaves an arm or leg open for too long on the mat.
