Fedor vs cain (fantasy fight)

After both fighters got laid out in one round, who do you think would take this fight?

Fedor has good sambo which might negate some of cains wrestling, but cain has more technical striking than fedor.  But then again fedors favorite punch is his overhand f-bomb which we all saw what happens when landed on cains head.  could go either way, well see what fedor has left after monster monson.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't give Fedor much more than a puncher's chance against Cain at this point.

seriously, did u not see cain get dropped on saturday.  exact same punch kongo threw, over cains left jab.  Cardio doesnt count for nothing when you get bombed on.

Fair point except he beat Congo and he would be Fedor.

Cain would absolutely annihilate Fedor.... Not even close. and my use of alliteration proved that!

@minotauro... That was over 6 years ago.. Fedor is getting outstruck by the likes of Bigfoot Silva these days. And he got knocked out by Hendo in the first round.. A true legit heavyweight like Cain would maul him at this stage. Fedor wouldn't stand a chance.

Oh we're talking about modern Fedor? Yeah I'd take Cain for sure then. I assumed this was a prime vs. prime type of scenario. 

Fedor still has power, he rocked Henderson a couple times, but I think he'd get finished in this fight. He could make it a good fight though, but Cain probably wins 9/10 times barring a money punch from Fedor. 

If Bigfoot Silva can manhandle Fedor then Cain would just trounce mondern day Fedor. Hell Cain is so well rounded and more evolved then most of the opposition a prime Fedor faced that I think he could beat him as well though it would be more tougher for Cain.

Fedor isnt a 'joke' MMA evolved and he didnt. I think Fedor could easily beat low-mid tier fighters whether it be in the UFC or not. I think any top 15 would crush him though. If Fedor went to the UFC and fought Matt Mitrione then I think Fedor would with ease beat him. But if he went and fought a high level guy like Cain then Fedor would be put to sleep..

@mike Matt Mitrione is just as good a fighter as Bigfoot

I highly disagree on that one. Mitrione is a ****y fighter, he holds his hands at his waist like he has Tyson like standup and cant be touched. IF he pulled that **** on Fedor then Mitrione wouldnt make it out of the first round. Bigfoot has an amazing ground game for a guy his size. He is an inch or two taller than Mitrione, weighs about 10 pounds more than him, and has about an inch longer reach. Little difference that make a big effect in a fight. Mitrione has fought one top 15 fighter in Kongo and lost. The 5 wins he has arent over impressive opponents although they may have been impressive performances. Bigfoot has 3 losses, one that was 6 yrs ago that isnt even worth mentioning. And 2 other losses to 2 guys considered top 10 HWs right now. Werdum & Cormier. The level of opposition Bigfoot has faced is pretty high and he has beaten them. And rather impressively at that. Say what you will about Fedor, but Bigfoot beat him. And that is a HUGE achievement, considering the domination he had that fight.

I agree that Fedor would beat Mitrione PROBABLY, but what you said is ridiculous, he's a lot more relevant to MMA than you are pal.
