After football season, I love a good ole skool Sunday card. WEC had the Wednesday cards too, right. What a great middle of the week treat. Plus, Bellator one day and UFC the next. Sounds like a pretty awesome weekend to me. I’m<3 consecutive fight days.

Albu vs. Whitmire
Aleksandra Albu, DEC
both tend to leave their chin their and flail inaccurate straight punches during exchanges, but AA has a more power and is more aggressive, EW has decent timing to counter so it could be close but I think AA will get credit for moving forward more, doing more damage and maybe forcing takedowns

N'Gannou vs. Velasquez
N'Gannou, KO/TKO, R1
I love Cain, but Francis is too much to handle for him considering his hiatus. The last time he stepped into the ring he defeated Travis Browne more than two years ago. The same Travis Browne who is now retired and lost five of his last six fights.
N'Gannou looked great against Blaydes, a wrestler himself, and he seems to have understood from his mistakes. Francis will try to finish the fight as soon as possible and Cain will try to shut him down by takedowns but N'Gannou is a big big guy and he has reach advantage on his opponent.
I can see Cain failing a first takedown attempt and then try to close the distance and getting caught by the Predator.

Vick vs. Felder
Felder, DEC
I want to see these guys going at each other for all the three rounds. This could be easily your FOTN and even a contender for FOTY maybe. Anything can happen in the first two rounds than I think that Vick will start to fade due to his weight cut. Taking no risks, Paul will direct the later phases of this fight and take a UD.

Vick vs. Felder and Jury vs. Fili will go to the scorecards and the Irish Dragon and Myles will have their hands raised.
Rest of the main card: Gracie will submit Caceres in the first, Calvillo will do the same with Courtney Casey in the second and Luque will KTFO of Bam Bam in the first minutes of their fun fight.

Overall this card looks promising and in the prelims we have also Sterling vs. Rivera and Lopez vs. Bermudez. Great night of fights incoming.

Funny article I saw that Caceres said he wants a fire fight with Kron and not a boring BJJ grappling match. ROFL

No duh! Kron is now perhaps the best BJJ guy in the UFC and there's some good ones; Dariush, Oliveira, Jacare, Maia to name a few. No particular order and I know I left some names out but those guys BJJ are their bread and butter. You got other guys that are high level like Ferguson, Poirier, Branch to name a few but they don't rely on the Jitz like some of the others.

Oh man, Penn vs Esquibel is canceled. Damn. Best fight of the card is off. I was so looking forward to watching these girls throw strikes at the speed and power that I reach for a bottle of Milk at the store, to say nothing of the 4 1/2 minutes of leaning on the cage out of breath each round.

Damn fishrat not a fan of female fights.

I did think that 4 was too many but if they are gonna have 4 divisions it's a shame to see these girls get what 1 fight per year.

They need to eliminate 145 and just keep 115, 125 and 135.

@Boredoms let's be real; if you had to choose between never watching WMMA and never watching HW again, you wouldn't even have to think about. And I think you know that. Every HW fight ever? Yeah, Lewis vs Volkov was a real snoozer and disappointment. **** that ****. Give me Pudliova vs Moras playing pattycake for three rounds any day.

I'm not saying WMMA is always bad, but it typically is. For every Nunes and Schevchenko you've got twenty Lucie Pudliovas. This is the way of things.

Exactly. There wouldn't be Prize-fighting without HW's. NOBODY wants to watch 125 pounders run around, been proven. Giant slow men getting tired from swinging sledgehammers is LIFE. Peak Human combat is between 260 pound men.
