That would've made me sick to wear. I may have been forced to quit Tapology.

It's still his fault for ******* up, and I think he's trying to make excuses for it. Saying that though I agree with him on the rest of what he said, it does seem like they're trying to put guys who are friends/same team against each other for some reason, which does kind of take away the excitement/real fighting desire. It's like I've said many times and alot of other people have complained about it, it's about winning/ratings more than fighting now.

How many "handlers" do you think these apex level pro athletes have??? your food is cooked, your workouts are planned, what you drink, who drives you to what, same with any other high profile person.  Like it or not you haters, the man is a pro fighter.
Until Nick gets caught cheating, Greasing, roiding, molesting kids or assaults some woman, I'll always be a fan and respect the fact that he,literally, fought his way up against a deck that was statistically stacked against him. I wonder how some of you would've turned out in the same situation, your words carry a lot of venom.

Sport? fighting is a sport when brock is slobbering all over himself, hammer fisting like a **** ape who just got his tire swing cut down or guys are licking blood off their gloves, right?  Sorry, I'm a fight fan, no apologies from me. I like to watch people fight. The "sporting" aspect comes into play when you remove the biting, handful of sand in the face, fish hooking, grease and steroids.

if he slapped GSP in the street he'd get mauled on the spot no doubt. People mistake kindness and class for weakness. Make no mistake GSP is a straight killer, behind the velvet glove lies an iron fist.

Diaz is just being childish in this interview, plain and simple.  Nothing he says about GSP's supposed response to his trash talk or slap in the face mean **** because he won't do it, and never did do it.  Diaz is mad because he lost out on a huge pay day because he couldn't make it to the pressers.  However, if I were Nick, I'd be more concerned about my pending fight against BJ Penn, because Penn is very capable of giving Diaz a rough night.

I don't think Diaz is being childish, dumb or any of that other stuff said.  He is just being him and drawing attention to himself.  Looks like it's working.

And the desire for attention at any cost isn't childish?  I think that songs like childish to a TEE.  What is his attention getting him, besides a lost title shot and big pay day anyway?

It's getting him publicity.  You're taking the wrong P.O.V. here.  He got **** canned b/c he wouldn't go to pressers or any of that.  He has come out more publicy in the last few days than he has the last few weeks.  So, no.  I don't think this has anything to do with "the desire" for attention... I think he is just trying to get back in the spotlight in anyway he can to get back in the good graces.  I bet he never misses a presser again.

I bet it's a long time before he gets a title shot in the UFC though also.

The B.J. fight will tell us a ton about that.  But in all likely hood, you're probably right.

I bet if he loses to BJ Penn, he gets cut.  That would be sweet justice in Dana's eyes for Diaz' antics.

Diaz can talk all he wants, and say whatever he wants, while I'm still a fan of him as a fighter, I'm not at all impressed with or happy with his decision, or how he's chosen to handle the situation. He had a shot to prove to the world that he is the best WW in the world, and he blew it. Now he wants to talk sh*t about GSP because of his own demise? Diaz only has himself to blame. Trashtalking GSP only makes him look worse IMO.

On top of all of that - I'm really pissed at Nick Diaz for him forcing me to take GSP's side on this!!!! p4pgoat knows how much that angers me!!!! LOL!!!!

@Jay.. he is doing it to stay relevant after what happened.  I agree with you as far as being a fan of him as a fighter and being let down after what he did... but imo, all this "talk" is to try to get back in the public and stay relevant.  I don't think it makes him worse... this is what he does and what everyone is used to.. trash talk.

Seems like most fans just like to hate and criticize more than just watch good fights. Nick might be immature, irresponsible what ever but why all the hostility? Isn't he still a bad ass fighter? Hopefully he learns to be the fighter-politician you all need him to be so he can stay in the UFC and put on more good fights.
