I find HW very hard to rank. Brock hasn't fought in ages but I don't see anyone but Cain,JDS, and possibly Barnett beating him. Then you have Carwin who has only lost to Brock and JDS. I don't see him losing to anyone else besides Cain or Barnett so he didn't drop far. It's going to get even harder if Cormier beats Barnett(if that fight happens). I just can't see Cormier beating a guy like Brock, Carwin, JDS, or Cain. I think he'd have a really hard time with Overeem too.

I don't really understand you're top 10 justy.  Overeem hasn't beaten anyone relevant recently other than a terrible performance against Werdum.  JDS has trouble with Carwin, Cain destroyed Lesnar and everyone else he has fought and is still the champion.  It's all opinion, and for the record I think Cain and JDS would give Overeem problems.

how do you think cain or JDS will give overeem problems?

he is a better striker then both and has a better ground game then both

i would give cain the advantage in wrestling but thats about it

JDS knocked out Werdum, Overeem arguably got outstruck by him.  Overeem outstruck Brett Rogers, who is a dud, he knocked out Todd Duffee, who is a UFC reject.  We have rarely seen his ground game lately, and I think Brock will destroy him given that he can secure a takedown.

i agree rogers sucks

and werdum did get knocked out by JDS but then beat the "almighty" fedor and i wouldnt say duffee is a UFC reject cause he didnt get cut cause he was bad he got cut cause he was a ******

i think allistair can strike way way better then cain though so i see his fight with lesnar going the same way only quicker

Like I said, we have yet to see what Overeem possesses on the ground recently.  If he can't hit Brock quickly he will be in a lot of trouble.

I mostly agree with your list Crum but I don't think Carwin should be that high, he's lost 2 in a row.

I also disagree with you Justyn, Overeem got outstruck by Werdum and I think he would get KO'd by JDS or Cain.

Well I still think Carwin is a huge contender at heavyweight.  He destroyed Frank Mir who barely got through Cro Cop and Roy Nelson.  He dominated the entire fight against Brock and gave JDS trouble.  The pure fact that he can knock anyone out in one punch convinces me to put him in the top 5.

Mine after this weekend. I think Cormier is worthy of a spot at 10, if not he should be right there. I wouldn't mind seeing a fight with a guy like Werdum if Barnett beats him. Then again, with that standup he's developed, and his fantastic wrestling, he might give Barnett some issues.

I explained my reasoning in my post above.  Can't justify putting him any higher than 6.

Not sure why Barnett is so high, the guy has beaten nobody.

@Crum.. Barely got past Nelson? He ******* dominated that fight from start to finish and one of the cards was 30-26. He killed Nelson. If thats barely getting past someone then just wow. Mir has won 2 straight since then Carwin has lost 2 straight. Simple. and @Yaspaa. Hes won his last 8 and hes beat Couture, Big Nog and more good fighters.

He couldn't even finish Nelson, if that was domination then it was the sloppiest domination I have ever seen.  They both gassed after 2 rounds, at least JDS was hurting Roy.  Carwin fought 2 tougher opponents than Mir for his last two.  Mir got dominated by Brock and Carwin destroyed Brock until he gassed and got subbed.  Carwin also went the distance with JDS.  Plus Mir got destroyed by Carwin, I don't know how you can deny Carwin deserves a higher spot than Mir.  You have Travis Browne in your top 10 and all he has done is knock out Stefan Struve, I'd put Mitrione over Browne if anything.

Even so, okay he beat Roy who JDS destroyed.  He beat Cro Cop who Brendan Schaub destroyed, I have no justification to put Mir in the top 5.  Two lackluster performances don't do it for me.

Brendan Schaub destroyed Cro Cop? Really? Cro Cop was actually winning that fight up until the knockout. Mir beat Cro Cop alot more clearly than Schaub did. two lackluster performances? Hes has 12 wins in the ufc.
