Don't really know why this fight is happening. If Werdum is smart he could set a record for fastest heavyweight submission.

Wooo boy this is a great fight. I think Werdum should fight cautious and get TD's since Lewis doesn't have good TDD. Lewis has been getting better and better at riding out the storm and getting back up or waiting out the round, he will get taken down but Werdum needs to SUB him. Lewis for all his grappling flaws has been able to use his style to his advantage and I think Lewis has a great shot to KO Werdum, all he needs is 1-2 big shots.

I think Werdum's striking is more than competant enough to beat Lewis there, and get it to the ground. Werdum by submission.

Technically speaking Werdum is better at every facet of the game. Lewis just has the age, size, and power.

Rant Alert

Prediction: Lewis  |  KO/TKO  |  Round 1

@tacos

OH NOES! WERDUM CALLED FERGUSON A ******, AND IN 2017 NO LESS. OH WILL SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Who gives a flying ****? Seriously. I am so done with the stigmatizing of the word ******. If Ferguson can't handle being called a naughty word, then he is mentally soft for getting offended over a word and so is everyone else who is obsessed over this nontroversy. Words are just words, and only people can decide how much power they should have. And before every member of the site tries to dog pile on the down votes, I do think Werdum should have made a better choice of words considering the setting he was in, but the fact that there were people who were calling for his job to be taken away over words is pitiful; especially when someone like Travis "wifebeater" Browne still has a job.

Saying 'Maricon' is pretty much normal in South America, at least in the country I live in, Venezuela. It's kinda like saying '****' in Australia, you can use it as an insult or in a "friendly" way.

Eh, I don't disagree with ya, Hornet. I personally don't give a ****. That's just the latest reason why people consider Werdum a "POS".

The issue is that the word is an insult based on a potential aspect of somebody that isn't a negative. The implication is that being gay is a bad thing. It is entirely different to calling someone a '****' or a '****' in a friendly way. Do I think that everyone who uses ****phobic slurs is a ****phobe? Not at all. Everyone says stuff in the heat of the moment like in arguments that doesn't necessarily reflect their views. It's not about being overly politically correct, it is about not being a unapologetic prick.
