Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 5 Perfect, 550 Points   |   Tied for 208th

The fighters are weighed in and we're set for a PPV that doesn't have many people talking ... at least, not in the right ways.

We lost another prelim at the weigh-ins, as Justin Willis was unable to complete his weight cut and was deemed medically unfit to compete.

As such, we'll proceed with 11 bouts out of an original 14.

Prelims kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET before switching to FS1 at 8pm. The PPV main card airs at 10pm.

Enjoy!

Fun first round!

Could go either way.  Leaning towards Poirier.

Poirier headhunts too much.  Not that he isn't a badass fighter, but I'd think he's be more effective in picking Miller apart if he varied it up with more kicks, body shots, etc.  In this second round he's doing virtually nothing but finding different angles for punches to the head.

Greg, that's how he keeps getting clocked. He's a great pocket fighter, but he "forgets himself" and thinks that knockouts only come from full power punches.

I think that even to date that's a weakness of most MMA fighters. They don't get the values of accumulation and precision.

Anyone else thinking Poirier has an injured/broken right hand?  I have the volume down low so apologies if it's already being talked about in the play by play.

Poirier 30-27. Jim doesn't lose much stock in this loss though.

They said the leg kicks of Miller screwed up Poirier's lead leg, which prevented him from unloading combos.
