The fighters are weighed in and two missed the mark. Felipe Arantes missed weight by 2 lbs, forefeiting 20% of his purse to Perez, while Charles Oliveira tied a UFC record for his fifth career miss (he now shares the distinction with John Lineker.) He was off by a whopping 9 lbs and will forfeit 30% of his purse to Lamas, who agreed to what is now essentially a lightweight fight he weighed in at 146 for. 

By my (rough) estimates, this should grant Lamas in the neighborhood of an extra $15k for taking the fight, win or lose, and the 30% fine marks a step in a new direction for the promotion, which will now be increasing fines depending on the severity of the miss. 

Anyway, this is a great card overall. The action kicks off on UFC Fight Pass at 630pm ET before switching to FS1 for the rest of the night at 8pm.

I liked the idea of Held fighting Sanchez because they are two of the most reckless fighters around. Who would have guessed Sanchez would use someone's recklessness against him.

@dtrain24 I agree that was a major fight IQ blunder by Held. He honestly expected to spend all his energy digging under his opponent and trying for long shot heel hooks in the UFC and walk away with the victory as easily as he did in Bellator.

I think Held was too tired to even have a stand up fight after round 1.After the first minute of round 2 I knew Sanchez would win comfortably.Held has always had mediocre cardio,couple that with the elevation,still a very disappointing performance.Good win for Diego.
