Miocic vs. Overeem

Miocic gonna do work in Cleveland.

I think Overreem lucked out so badly when he fought JDS. He fought the ****test JDS ever, honestly think that JDS would have lost to several of the top 10 guys.  I think that victory of his, is by far the most overrated.  That was not the same JDS who fought Moicic or Rothwell.

Whenever a Brazilian loses there's always someone there to make excuses to discount that loss. 

Oh please i could give a **** about Brazilian fighters or JDS.  It just a fact overreem fought a ****** JDS.  JDS that fought overeem had zero movement, stood in place and was scared.  JDS that fought Rothwell and Miocic was using a great active jab and movement particularly in the Rothwell fight.  He throw combinations and was the agressor while cutting angles through out the fight. I bet Moicic ends up beating the crap out of overreem, who has the most overrated striking in MMA.

@Franklin, why? Because he "outfootworked" Ben Rothwell?? He was timid against Overeem because he knows Overeem can hurt him, has faster reflexes and a quicker counter. If they fight again he'll most likely be as careful if not more so.

He won't be able to dance around Overeem the way he did against Rothwell simply because it's a completely different stylistic fight.

I don't think JDS has suddenly "found himself" nor did he ever go anywhere. He'd most likely lose to Cain the way he did in the last two fights 9/10 and beat Rothwell looking as good as he did 9/10 too.

Reem met that exact same JDS that fought Rothwell, he looked in shape, confident, they were both super cautious and the one that landed first won. I don't think JDS has suddenly become a monster nor was he a bum in the Reem fight. He did have better footwork against Rothwell, but that's more due to his specific game-planning against a huge, slow, plodding opponent not because he's discovered footwork and become a new kind of beast.

I'd bet my life on him looking timid against Reem more on account of him wanting to bait Reem and counter on that glass chin of his for a spectacular knockout than anything else. With Ben and Miocic he didn't look for one punch because he knows they're tough.

That said, I agree with you, I think Miocic is too young and fast for post-PED, glass chin Reem and will send him to sleep.

Miocic by being the smarter fighter.

Doesn't matter what JDS showed up dude. Overeem KO'd him and fought a smart fight. I think he'd do it again and I think he wins the title with a 3rd or 4th round KO.

Miocic sucessfully defends and find a KO in the 1st or 2nd.

I actually agree with Franklin for the most part. I do see everyone's point,and stylistically did make jds look worse but I do put a lot of stock into jds himself looking like garbage too.I would pick jds in a rematch without question, and I'm not much of a jds fan,character wise.

Stipe could end this quickly, but Alistair has been fighting so smart as of late. I'm hesitating to pick against him. 

It's not really a question of skill for Alistair. He's easily twice the martial artist that Rothwell, Browne or Bigfoot are. He lost those fights because of tactical mistakes. Mistakes that he seemed to be doing a much better job of not making in his recent fights. He has so much experience, and his skills are elite or near elite in every aspect of MMA. 

He is much more well rounded and complete than Stipe. If he and Stipe trained in the gym, Alistair would probably take him to school. 

But Stipe may still knock him out. Cause Stipe is fast and hits hard as ****. That's the way MMA is, and that just seems to be the way it goes for Alistair.

@OutlawJoseyWales You crazy, dude? I knew Stipe would beat Werdum Face, and now he'll crush Overeem. He's gonna hold this belt for a LONG time.
