Why this fight is not the main event? Maybe UFC know that Rumble will win a 3 rounds but gas out and be submit in a 5 round! Jones-Rumble his a lot more anticipate then Texeira rematch!

Maybe Holm has more drawing power than Rumble at this point.

I think they want to build up Holm vs. Rousey 2.

Holm is one of the most known fighters to casuals, which is what the FOX audience is.

PPV and Fight Pass are for hardcores and casuals who really buy in. FS1 is more hardcore but casuals stumble across it. FOX is all about that casual money.

Holly Holm is top 5 in UFC for social media presence. I don't think Rumble is top 50.

Both Lil Nog and Bader beat Rashad then went on to get brutally knocked out by Rumble in their next fight. I see that trend continuing here.

I know rumble will be the favorite, but I might go with Glover considering its a 5 round fight. It's kind of weird, I'm not sure Glover can get out of the 1st,but if he does, I don't think Rumble can go all 5 with Glover's cardio, pace and finishing ability. Glover turns it on when rumble starts to fold mentally. Surprised to see a 90/10 here for Rumble. If it was 3 rounds I would lean Rumble, but stylistically glover is not a good fight for Rumble.

non-title/co-main events only go three rounds. I don't see this fight getting out of the first.

Oh what was I thinking, i guess i assumed it would headline.I'll almost go with rumble for sure now, unless the main event gets removed. This fight is sick, but would have loved 5.

I don't really give Glover much of a chance. He's not as fast, he doesn't have as long of a reach. He's not nearly as skilled or diverse a striker as Johnson. Glover is hittable, flat footed and doesn't employ the movement or tactics necessary for a guy like Rumble. Rumble is a guy who took Cormier down, and who Cormier struggled to take down more than he did against guys like Josh Barnett or Soa Paleilei...Johnson has a base heavy enough to build your house on.

Anything can happen, and it's a great fight regardless but it should be an easy and impressive win for Johnson to get himself back in the mix.

Cancelled

Prediction: Teixeira  |  Submission  |  Round 3

Rumble withdrew ... unclear why at this time. No reports of injuries. No reports of USADeries.

Was a stellar fight. Jimi Manuwa seems interested in replacing him.
