This would not be good news for the MW division of the UFC...If Vitor went and worked with Freddie Roach his striking would become unbelievable and he very well could stand with Anderson and take the belt from him!

eh.... I don't know if Vitor is in a position in his career where his skills are going to dramatically change.

Anderson Silva is a bad matchup for Vitor.  The only thing that I could see happening is that Anderson, who is older than Vitor, starts to decline more quickly.

Freddie Roach can take Vitor's skillset and clean up a few things in terms of his already dangerous hands and make them better

Freddie Roach is a boxing genius, and has taken many experienced fighters and changed their game and cleaned up some rough spots.  I don't think Vitor is too old in the game to learn new tricks or improve old ones, by any means.  I think Belfort training with Roach would be an incredibly smart move, and would make him a dangerous threat in his division.  Whether it would be enough to make him a serious threat to Anderson Silva?  I'm not sure about that, but it couldn't hurt!  Belfort already has devastatingly fast and powerful hands, so you take that and put some solid boxing training behind it, and you have a dangerous man.  Not to mention the fact that Belfort is also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which equates to a very well-rounded competitor.  I love the idea!
