Not a surprise that Northcutt is on this card. Lets see if they can squeeze Paige VanZant onto it as well.

Enrique "wasabi" Marin, first spanish fighter in the UFC, I beleive. He was the TUF latino runner up at 170. Did well on the show, but the finale fight was kind of a boring sparring match. Trains a Kings with Master Rafa. He will Sage at 200

They should just make every fight on the card for the interim belt in my opinion.

Based on what I've been seeing, I wouldn't be surprised if we get any or all of the following:

Lawler-Condit 2

Tate-Holm 2

RDA-Alvarez

The UFC has been counting on Lawler-GSP, but, shockingly, their talks with GSP have not gone well on account of him bitterly despising Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta.

If Dana thinks he is going to get GSP to fight in the UFC again after the smear campaign he pulled in the immediate aftermath of UFC 167 to GSP, then he has lost his mind.  There is no way in hell GSP is going to do business with Dana again after that.

Also why is Aldo/Edgar II not higher on the card?   I know it is a glorified #1 contender's fight and the UFC is looking to put an actual title bout on the card involving Lawler, Tate, or RDA.  However, it shouldn't be the first bout on the main card after the prelims.  It should be at least the third to last fight on the night, behind the co-main event.

I always hated it when the title fight is not the last/main fight, it's usually something Bellator and some Japanese orgs did, I find it disrespectful when the UFC does it though because they're saying star power is more important than being the champion.

If GSP actually comes back, and beats Robbie Lawler.  I really don't see any argument for who really is the greatest fighter of all time.

I think Tate/Holm II is the co-main. It'll essentially be like a UFC 196 redux but with an interim between Aldo/Edgar on there too.

Northcutt is a name still. If he gets better, he can be with the UFC for years and make them tons of money.

Looks like the main card is set and is in the middle of the main card, behind an interim title fight.
