I think Shogun was embarassed by Jones, he seems motivated to redeem himself. BTW BodyModifier I left you a comment on your page.

Wandy, Shogun, Werdum, Babalu, Mayhem Miller, Mark Munoz. Very nice.
Shogun looks very focused and ready for Forrest. Excited for this fight.

I also have Shogun TKO round 2, I love Forrest but I'm going with my head instead of heart. I also like Shogun though so whatever...

This thread is like 3 years old but I don't care.. Shogun just said he believes he's 2 wins away from a title shot.. Did Dan Henderson knock some brain cells out of him with that last knockout?

Why would he think that? Since he lost to Jones he's gone 3-4, not exactly living up to title contender status. In addition there are 3 legitimate opponents lined up for Jones (Cormier, Gustafsson and Rumble), so if any one of them beats Jones, we all know it's going to get an immediate rematch and even if Jones does run through all of them that is all he's going to fight through the end of 2015.

He has a lot of wear and tear on him. He should go to 185 as there are too many guys at LW who are too big for him.

His speed (or lackthereof) would never hold up at the top level at middleweight and he's not gonna start fighting bums at this stage of his career.

I see an inevitable Chuck Liddell-esque ending to his career since he's too smart to pull a Wand and just let it blow up uncontrollably, he'll fight, he'll brawl and he'll get KTFO quite a bit.

It kills me to write this, but the only person in the top of the division that won't beat him pretty bad is Dan Henderson, who's slower than him, and Hendo banked on a very generous ref and hail mary to win their rematch and put it at 2-0 leaving that fight pretty much irrelevant.

By the way, not saying should have or should have not been stopped so don't get into that argument with me, Hendo's win is legit, just saying a ****load of fights have been stopped earlier than when Shogun blacked Hendo out so that fight could've easily have been a TKO win for Shogun who was outclassing, "outfasting" and beating the living daylights (literally) out of Hendo before the comeback, so I still think Hendo's the one Shogun can still beat in the top 10-15.

My pick history for Shogun says I picked Rashad against him and I got the pick wrong... YEAH!! Hope that's not futuristic **** where tapology knows it's gonna happen.. Cause Rashad will kill him if they fight.

I like shogun but I feel light heavyweights of this ERA are much bigger than him and that if he made a drop too middleweight he could be top 10 and give the fans a few good fights .
could even rubber match lyoto
