I hate seeing Nog get destroyed. Mir ended his career after he snapped his arm. I'm rooting for Nog and hope he wins then retires in Brazil.

It'd be so awesome if Nog went out on a win and get's into the HOF.

This is such a weird fight, albeit, better than the 10 second main event, but still. Both guys really need a win, and both guys that I like. In a perfect world. I'd like to see Nogueira win, retire on a high. But he's stubborn as **** and regardless of the outcome here will probably fight again, so I don't care. A fifteen minute back-and-forth fight where neither guy really looks terrible would be great, but I think someone is getting finished by knockout.

This fight makes me feel so sad inside, and for both fighters.  With regards to Struve, I think about what a prospect he used to be and how he has fallen so far from being a potential elite heavyweight to now a fighter who is barely in the top 20.  As for Big Nog, I feel he has nothing left to prove; and after the way he lost to Mir in Canada, Nog should have retired by now.  This fight puts both of these guys health at risk, and both need to desperately need to retire, or heavily consider retirement after this fight.

I wanted to see this fight 3 years ago. now it just bums me out. Nog is going to get KO'd, I just don't see how he could win this fight at this point in his career,  he just need to call it a day, now on the other hand if for whatever reason Struve couldn't win the fight then he should call it quits

Not sure if Struve can KO him but if he can, Nog's chin went from the best in the world to mediocre within 10 years.

I love that the one constant between these two is that they have both beat Dave Herman in their last 5 fights. And both guys have been knocked out by Nelson. That being said I don't know if this is your stereotypical heavyweight fight where one guy is going to get finished either Struve has his ups and downs with his health and Nog isn't getting any younger.
