I'm trying to decide if I think Bermudez will be more effective in the wrestling department than Elkins. If not.....eh...I can see this actually being sort of boring with Stephens winning the last two rounds after Bermudez burns too much energy in the first. Though, Bermudez is more aggressive, so I suppose it depends on the judges. Not sure. Very good matchup, really difficult to pick.

@Zarog Completey different wrestling styles,Bermudez will be much much more effective.I picked Stephens over Elkins who's wrestling has become almost ineffective because of the evolution of wrestling in the sport and his mediocre style for mma (good for burning people out though).He only has 4 td's in his last 6 fights and besides the Siler fight 9 td's in his last 11 fights despite spamming td's almost every second of every fight.Bermudez won't shoot from across the cage with his arms extended and without his hips under him,he has a nicely timed explosive double which is much better against Stephens who was too strong for Elkins to simply muscle down.Bermudez's td's and Elkins' td's are uncomparable as far as this particular match up goes imo.

Tough fight to call. Both decent wrestlers. Bermudez is the young up and comer and Stephens with the experience. They both have big power in their hands. I think it will be a striking fight and I think Stephens is the better striker. Plain and simple.

Bermudez's chin is quite iffy. He's gotten rocked in almost every fight of his I've seen. I see Stephens knocking him out... That is if he can keep Dennis off of him.

Kinda surprised to see Bermudez as a big favorite. I think Fight IQ definitely plays a roll in this one. Dennis may be able to get Stephens down but he makes technical and defensive mistakes too often, he's way too hitable and although a tough guy, he's gotten rocked in a lot of fights he's been in, including the fight with Holloway with the BS decision win. I think Dennis needs a 100%-type performance to beat a guy like Jeremy.
