Also, does he need glasses or is he just a hipster who likes how they look? Half the pictures he's in doing interviews and not fighting he's wearing the black rimmed hipster glasses, the other half he's not. And that jacket is hideous. Just pure hideous.

Someone in here really has an uncontrollably raging hard on for Rory. Rory ******* sucks. He's overrated. He's not even a top 15 welterweight. He's a gatekeeper. I've heard he's gay. He'll never be as good as GSP. His decision against Demian Maia was a robbery. He stopped Tarec with illegal shots. He dresses like a *****. He has acne. I've come across chunks of driftwood with more captivating personalities. He's not technically sound enough to cut an avocado without maiming himself, etc. etc. etc.

@Skelliher The southpaw stances of Lawler and Hendricks are a great impediment to an effective use of the jab and I do not believe that Rory has a jab superior to GSP's; though, I will admit Rory's length may help with the distancing. Unfortunately for Rory, his wrestling is not to GSP's level. The only fight that I think the comparison can become obvious is by looking at their respective performances against Condit. I realize that was a long time ago for Rory, but I think there is something to look at there. GSP was capable of controlling Condit and doing damage from the top, while absorbing only mild punishment. Rory could only get Condit down, then would offer no offense and after taking a good deal of punishment from Condit's guard, Rory would literally get up and allow Condit back to his feet. His striking was more elementary in that fight than it is now, but Rory's striking skill set is essentially predicated almost entirely on an effective jab. I can't say that his grappling is superior to GSP's, who couldn't take down Hendricks.
In addition to all that, I still question Rory's cardio in a fast paced fight against someone with excellent cardio. Don't think he can maintain in a 5-rounder against someone that will push the pace and not allow him to get content with just tossing the jab and snap kick out there.
