Gabe's best shot is in the 1st. I think Miocic weathers the storm and then finishes but the Road to the Octagon vid made me want to root for Gonzaga a little more just because of his English Bulldog.

yeah, I already knew about Cowboy's dogs. Been a longtime fan of his but there's something fitting about Gabriel having a bulldog. Probably the whole dog & owner looking alike thing.

this is the hardest fight to pick imo . Gonzaga has been finishing people quick lately . But Stipe just went 3 rounds with Roy and was able to avoid his bombs . gotta think some more but right now im thinking Stipe will win a decision .

This was my original choice for the Survivor Game first fight, but then I saw the Harris/Krylov fight and thought it was a nice potential underdog pick.

Could be competitive but I think a Miocic dec is most likely.

Gonzaga, other than his fight with Travis Browne, has looked fantastic since his return. However, the two quick KO wins kinda scare me, because I'm wondering if he's gonna get back to trying to be K1 Gonzaga. That didn't do him much good last time, and Miocic isn't the guy he should try that with.

You'd best go with a KO. Gonzaga is going down and not getting back up once Stipe tags him flush. he's no Roy Nelson.

Stipe looked good in his last win for sure but that's Roy Nelson's MO, if he doesn't get the first round KO he basically gasses, does nothing and gets dominated (see Mir, JDS, Werdum). Not sold on him yet, people seem to forget he lost to Struve in the fight before. Odds are ridiculous, 50/50 fight and I think Gonzaga will land first.

Stipes biggest problem was playing tit for tat, he'd land one shot and back away. he did it against Struve and Rosario. he fixed that against Nelson.

Stipe losing to Struve is no worse then Gonzaga losing to Schuab.

Fan of Gonzaga but I see this being similar to the Roy Nelson fight. Miocic will be rangier and Gonzaga will have a hard time scoring a takedown if that's what he tries to do. Of course, Gonzaga hits like a truck and it would only take 1.
