@LynxGuy Subbing Eric Wisely...that just screams top 5. Wisely's never won a fight in Zuffa, is that supposed to be a big win for Oliveira? He subbed Brookins who's a TUF winner, but Efrain Escudero was a TUF winner as well. Kendall Grove too. Mac Danzig? TUF winner. Amir Sadollah? He won TUF too. Winning TUF shouldn't be considered as a monumental achievement.

Cub Swanson KOed Ross Pearson, right. Ross Pearson's a great fighter but again, does a win over him scream top 5?

@LynxGuy i wouldn't take it as Anik attacking you his just simply putting his opinion as well. This is what forums are for, debating. And he has put some valid reasons.

@Anik I agree maybe Cub is alittle high on my ranking, but it is just my opinion that he lost to tough guys and has beaten some tough guys. I dont know who else should be ranked above him other than koch, lamas and maybe Hioki. Other than that who should be above him? Someone not in the ufc who is fighting cans? Yea okay.

I'm fine with his rankings, he can rank people wherever he wants, it's his own opinion and I'm not gonna sit here and try to point out reasons why his rankings shouldn't be the way they are.  I'm just here to state my own opinion, if you don't agree with it, that's fine.  No reason to try to change my mind by telling my why my reasons are 'incorrect'.

*also never insulted you, just asking you to chill and not try to act as if my opinion is dumb because it doesn't match your own.  No one's opinion will ever be wrong, keep that in mind.

@joshes2 How about Yuri Alcantara, the guy who beat Ricardo Lamas? Or Hacran Dias, the guy who beat Yuri Alcantara, who beat Ricardo Lamas? How about Dennis Siver, who beat Diego Nunes who only had 2 career losses prior to that fight? How about Dustin Poirier, who's only career FW loss came again Korean Zombie, a man who is number 3 on your list?

Why anyone argues over rankings is beyond me.

...but for the sake of conversation, #8 will have a better chance to beat #1, but #8 can't get by #2 who can barely beat your #5, who beat #1 3 years ago... but #1 destroyed #2 and #4. #3 will be the champ by the end of the year, but only if he can beat #6 in a couple months (who is my favorite of all time, so I'm biased), Your #9 is stupid because he didn't beat #10... but it's possible he could beat #4, but I wouldn't bet on it. #7 beat #2 two years ago by a lucky punch, but #3 destroyed him. #7 then beat #1 (who was ranked #8 at the time) a year ago and should be ranked higher than your #5 guy because you're dumb and I hate #5. Therefore, my rankings are far more superior than yours.

Anik, maybe you can't see it, but you sound like a total ********* here and are clearly trying to state reasons as to why my opinion is dumb, why else would you possible say any of this?  That's not debating, you're simply saying "Your opinion is dumb because of this, this, and this."

It's not being overly sensitive, I'm not even worked up, I just don't see why people go after other people's opinions like they're stating incorrect facts.  A debate would be saying why you think whoever else should be #5 or why you don't think Cub deserves to be that high up.  Build your own case, not try to tear down others.  Not a big deal though.
