Hey, they're your rankings, no point criticizing.  I will point a couple things out though.

If you're ranking on recent accomplishments I don't know how you can have Fedor ahead of Werdum, the only man to ever finish him.

I agree, your last 4 are all largely untested against top competition, but are all talented fighters so whatever makes you happy.

Before Overeem decisioned him his last three fights were triangling Fedor (the #1 heavyweight in the world at the time), decisioning Bigfoot Silva (another top 10 win), and submitting Mike Kyle (not a huge name, but fairly well known).

Before that, Junior dos Santos beat him.  But before THAT his previous two fights were finishing Brandon Vera and Gabriel Gonzaga, which was a bigger deal then than it would be now.

So that's basically why a lot of people rate him so high.

josh barnett is the rodney dangerfield of the heavyweight division. he really belongs in everyone's top 10 list. his quality of comp isn't great lately, but overall it's better than schaub, mitrione, cormier and del rosario put together.

I think I have Barnett at 11 or 12 due to his level of recent competition, but my #10 spot seems to be constantly changing.

I still don't know why I put Josh Barnett as high as I did. I just like the guy I guess. Shane Carwin and Fabricio Werdum will probably come out of my top 10 list very soon.

But Carwin would smash Mir if they fought, just like last time. No way I can put him lower than Mir.

Carwin just stays where he is for me, behind the two guys who have beaten him. Dude, Overeem at 2?

to answer all above inquiries that yall may have with my rankings as well..

1st..not only is mir ahead of carwin, carwin isn't in my top 10....may be harsh, may be wrong...however, carwin has been reality checked as a fighter with limited skills who punches really really hard...

2nd...lesnar is down below mir as well, as i have a third fight favoring the more talented and better prepared mir...going into first 2 fights, mirs gameplan was get taken down, and hope for a submission...due entirely to the second brock beatdown, he's gained alot of muscle weight, and improve his takedown defense considerably...

3rd...werdum is a great talent, and his strategy against overeem was sound...it just didnt work...due to his constant flopping, overeem didnt respect werdums strikes...and werdum landed a good deal of power strikes that caught overeem off guard...although, because of the flooping, there was zero chance he'd win a decision...

my 9-10 spots are prospects who i feel are on the cusp of greatest..but arent there yet...

11 for me is daniel cormier...we KNOW he can wrestle, but he showed good boxing his last fight...improvement in mma is HUGE

griggs IS dangerfield....he wont get respect until he's gone...i like him, but thats the truth...

the one MAJOR difference is sergei kharitonov...i almost put him in at 10, but he's at 12 behind cormier...but u (@wolf) have him at 5...why so high man?
