that's if number of title defenses is your criteria. Chuck had less title defenses but many consider him the greatest as opposed to tito. it does help that they fought each other. that's just an argument for someone who may think otherwise. i like chuck way more than bones. actually, i don't care for bones that much at all, but i think he's faces better competition in his 4 defenses than either or chuck or tito's runs.

I honestly hate Jon Jones, but he the greatest LHW UFC champion

It goes for me anyways. Jon Jones >Chuck Liddell > Frank Shamrock > Tito

Though personally I think there are fighters better then Frank and Tito at light heavy weight. In terms of accomplishments that is how I would rank them.

And the level that jones rubs me the wrong way goes up yet again. He has tremendous skills and ability but damn it i want to see someone knock him out in the brutalist manner possible.

He is already the best LHW ever, and he hasnt even hit his prime yet. Gonna be scary to see what a 29-30 year old Jones with grown man strength if he can keep up this level of destruction he displays.

If he moves up and gets the title, that would be a huge boost when we talk about the GOAT. I don't particularly care for him, but unless he starts mainlining hard drugs, he'll never be out of the top 5.

I also assume he's talking about most title defenses at that weight class. Talent-wise, yeah I think you can say Jones is the greatest Light-Heavyweight ever. He's fought fantastic competition (although I'll be the jerk and say that I do think that of the four longest reigning Light Heavy champs, Chuck Liddell faced the best competition as champion.)

But while he certainly has a point, I think Jones is once again showing major arrogance here. Why do you need to tell people how great you are? Shouldn't it be obvious enough already?

Beating Chael doesn't really move you up at all, only thing that matters in that fight is that Jones gets another defense under his belt. And if he loses this fight against Chael there is a possibility that he may be considered a fluke champion if he never got the belt back (which I think he would get the belt back)

StickmanAndrw kind of has a point. Anderson points to BJ and GSP when asked who's the greatest. GSP points to BJ & Anderson.

The only thing Jones has that GSP & Silva do not is a huge ego.
