I think so . I think the Overeem and Rashad  losses put things in perspective.

Won't make a difference. camps can't save Guillard from himself.

The Jackson camp can only take Guillard so far. It will ultimately be up to him how good he wants to be. The move certainly won't hurt him. The Blackzillians are probably done but they did get a win last night with Anthony Johnson beating Arlovski.

Good decision by Guillard. Hope the UFC doesn't keep feeding him to top 10 guys though.

^i second that.

I was a big Guillard fan when i starting watching MMA more, but over the years i've become less and less of a fan. Just seems like he's not that interested in working on his weaknesses, and he isn't always in the right mindset. I do hope he can find his winning ways again though.

Blackzillians is the most underwhelming training camp in MMA.

So many good top fighters who were doing so good when fighting out of other camps, yet they join Blackzillians and begn to lose.

I know it's not the camps fault, but it's a funny thing to note.

It would be funny to see Rashad return to Jackson's camp also. He made Lil Nog's TDD look way better then what it really was considering how he did against wrestlers in his past UFC fights.

Good to finally see someone from that camp wisen up but I dont think it will do Melvin much good since he still has no ground game to speak of.

Yeah good move, I read somewhere Vitor is planning on leaving as well he's building his own camp in Brazil or something like that...

The whole camp seemed to have fell apart after Van Arsdsale left.  With all the talent they have there, maybe it's time for new coaching staff?

according to wiki, this is the current roster of the BZ (imperial athletics): might need some updating..

Rashad Evans (UFC)
Fabio Mello (Bellator FC, Pride FC)
Marcus Aurélio (UFC, Pride FC)
Roy Jones Jr. (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO)
Vitor Belfort (UFC, Affliction, Pride FC)
Jorge Santiago (UFC, Strikeforce, Sengoku)
Melvin Guillard (UFC) - not anymore!
Siyar Bahadurzada (UFC, Sengoku, Shooto)
Alistair Overeem (UFC, Strikeforce, Pride FC, K-1)
Dion Staring (Strikeforce)
Tyrone Spong (WSOF, Glory, It's Showtime, K-1)
Daniel Ghiță (Glory, It's Showtime, K-1)
Gesias Cavalcante (Strikeforce, Shooto, K-1)
Guto Inocente (Strikeforce),(UFC)
Andrews Nakahara (K-1, DREAM)
Cosmo Alexandre (Bellator FC, K-1, It's Showtime)
Anthony Johnson (WSOF, (UFC)
Braulio Estima (ADCC)
Matt Mitrione (UFC)
Thiago Silva (UFC)
Eddie Alvarez (Bellator FC)
Miguel Torres (UFC, WEC)
Michael Johnson (UFC)
Danillo Villefort (UFC, WEC, Strikeforce)
Yuri Villefort (UFC, Strikeforce)
Abel Trujillo (UFC)
Luiz Firmino (Pride FC, Shooto, DREAM)
Ryan Jimmo (UFC, MFC)
Claude Patrick (UFC, KOTC)
Ryan LaFlare (UFC)

They still carry some brass but I wouldn't bet on any BZ winning a legit title anytime soon.

With a camp with so many good fighters they should be finishing 90% of their opponents by KO.

They do lack BJJ fighters.

I don't know if it's the Blackzillian mentality, but their fighters and training regimen seems to be more striking oriented than anything.

Rashad stood with Little Nog for most of his fight and Rumble was getting yelled out when grappling with Arlovski (although here it made sense for him to continue pushing the action with strikes as he seemed like he had the advantage).

The biggest Blackzillian and most significant win they've got is Vitor headkick TKOing Bisping.

The Blackzillians have a lot of high profile guys with big personalities. They need coaches there that have the same kind of big personality to ensure that these guys are getting proper training. I think with guys like Overeem who has had a lot of success he starts to believe he can cut corners and not prepare to the best of his ability. A good coach that is highly respected would turn around that gym.
