Seriously people, this is the best chance to get rid of this guy. He said it himself, "We're all 3 losses from being out of it." Well, game over. You know he's just going to whine and ask for another rematch anyway. Why not kick him to the curb while the opportunity is there? I mean, when is this chump going to realize that he's a poor excuse for a flyweight? I need an answer.

So you're going to cut a guy who beats every featherweight not called Aldo and every lightweight not called Bendo (and even that is suspect, I'm pretty sure he beat Bendo in their last fight and I don't remember Bendo doing anything significant but an upkick in the first ... that's the champ, you know, the guy who ragdolled Diaz)?

I'm not a Frankie fan, never was, never will be (even if he wins 3 belts in 3 different weight divisions), but he's SO no "cut" material. If Akiyama and Hardy survived 4 losses to much lesser competition, I'm pretty sure Edgar's 3 highly competitive losses to 2 p4p top 10 guys won't get him cut.

1) Some people, like Edgar, should get more than 3 losses.

2) It's a completely different conversation when you lose to Bendo, Bendo (a fight who many think Edgar won), and Aldo as opposed to undercard fighters.

This is ridiculous! Why the **** would Edgar get cut? Losing two decision to the best LW in the world .. 1 of which most people thought he won? Or should he get cut because he lost a CLOSE decision to the 2nd/3rd best P4P fighter on the planet? Get outta here.

I wouldn't say the Aldo fight wasn't even close..

Aldo took R1 and R2 easy. R3 was very close, could have went either way. But R4 and R5 were imo very clear for Edgar.

I don't 'disagree' with the decision, it was a close fight.

you are crazy the ufc would not cut one of there best fighters who some can say that he beat the lightweight champion benson henderson wich most would say the fights with bendo are to close to call. he also all most beat opne of the best pound for pound fighters in aldo so why cut him.

One of those decisions that was closer than it seemed. After the fight, there was no doubt in my mind that Aldo won, but the third and fifth were very close. Gave Aldo the 3rd and was torn about the 5th. Definitely gonna watch that fight again.
