Absolutely fantastic fight. He told us he would knock him out. Stann was absolutely smashed. Would have been an even more devistating knockout if the left hook actually connected. Well done brother Silva.

@ lucya92, I had round 2 TKO but after the pre fight press confrence when Silva said thrid round KO, I changed it lol. The way those two swing, I didnt see it going past the third. Was awsome to see Silva in form. I guess now Silvas chin has redeemed itself, cause he did take a few hits that shook him. Ill give Stann that!

Stann could have won that fight if he wanted to, but he chose to fight in a way that honored Wandy in his "hometown." I couldn't respect Stann any more for the way in which he did battle. I still think it was hilarious when Wandy punched his feet out from under him.

It was really awesome to see the Wandy of old get the great KO victory last night. He made me eat my words, proved he still has some fights left in him, and beat a very formidable opponent in Brian Stann. Because I really like both fighters, it was sad to see Stann lose, but I'm very happy for Wandy.
On another note, it's a good thing that I'm a Wandy fan, because he is really starting to become a picking nemesis for me. In his last 8 fights I've picked for or against Wandy with a pick record of 1 win and 7 losses, losing the last 7 picks. If I picked him to win, he lost, and if I picked him to lose, he's won. Now ain't that just too nutty? LOL
Congrats on a great win Wandy!!!! No matter what you will always be a great fighting legend who should be loved and praised by all!!!!
