legacy is wrong, Franklin has dropped Wanderlie several times. And I am pretty certain Cung Lee dropped Wanderlie as well with as u stated a spinning back fist.

I stand corrected but I still think Wand has a descent chin and tons of heart to follow through and get a KO, there's no argument against Silva's power which is dangerous and not to be underestimated

I hope and think Wanderiel can pull this off. I think he is a better fighter then Stan is, but this fight is very dangerous for him. Wanderleil has a good chin against guys that have solid knock out power but not great knock out power. There seems to be a level of force that just put him down and he has just no chance of recovery. I think Stan has that type of power, it just will he land it flush on Wanderlei? I think Wanderlei has 50/50 shot here to pull the win out. I do however feel this is stylistically not a great match up for him.

@jitz, well he didn't got dropped against Franklin, Jardine, Bisping or Le, he got dropped by Leben who could KO a mule with a punch, Hendo which has huge KO power and Rampage in his prime, yes Wand chin is not as good as it used to be , they guy is old and has been in more wars that most of the MMA fighters out there, but I don't think Stann is counting him out as easily as some of you do, and if he is he is not being smart, Wand did droped Le, Franklin, Bisping, (almost)Leben and Jardine in his last 6 years. in the end I wouldn't put any money in this fight because either of them can get the KO even if the odds are with Stann.

- So this is completely inaccurate. He got rocked by Franklin, got dropped by Le, and He didn't take any shots from jardine. I'm not arguing that Silva doesn't have power, of course he does. You guys are quite mistaken, I like SIlva. But people seem to be persuaded by his legacy that he is something more than he is. he is past his prime, and can't take a punch. Why can't we just be realistic about this?

Wanderlei Silva's finally gonna make his comeback, his chin is still great and he definitely possesses the same vicious power that he's always had. I'm definitely gonna pick Silva to beat Rampage.

Recycle and repeat for the next 5 years. Wanderlei's done, he's gonna ******* derp against Brian Stann. His life ENDED when he fought Leben and his chin got pushed into the back of his brain with those uppercuts. Stann's got more power than Leben so I expect him to win via left hand ***** slap.

I like stan here. At this point in thier careers i think stann has more power and quicker hand speed. If rich franklin can almost ko silva, then stann should be able to finish the job. But as we saw in that franklin fight, wandy is never to be underestimated as he was seconds away from ending the franklin fight after ******* him up badly during one of the rounds. I just dont think silvas chin will hold up when stann cracks him square on the button.

I love Wanderlei Silva, but his best days are behing him. I think that he's going to fall right into Brian Stann's game, and get knocked out. It sucks to say, but I think it's true. I really hope I'm wrong about this pick.
