I wouldn't call his wins "gift wrapped" except for maybe the Torres fight. His wins over Benavidez and McCall were definitely earned...although maybe if McCall didn't showboat in their first fight, we would have a different champion.

I agree Mike. Also think Dodson has quite possibly the most overrated speed. I dont see why he being hyped as the fastest fighter, I think if anything MM is the faster of the two and expect him to dominate everywhere.

I think MM makes a statement here, or at least i hope he does. Picking him to win via 4th round submission. Altho im pretty sure i will change it to decision by the time the fight deadline comes lol but regadless. I dont see him losing to Dodson. Gonna be a fast paced fight tho. Only fighters outside of the flyweight division that can do 100% for 5 rounds is Benson, and Cain lol

I don't know if you guys watched every Dodson fight in the UFC, but they're all not that amazing to be honest. Everyone claims he's so active but he's reaaally not, he's a pretty tentative fighter who picks his shots.
Mighty Mouse is an outstanding striker (only person to ever truly test Dominick Cruz in the striking department, and many would argue that he actually beat Cruz striking-wise) and his latest fight just proved that he's an excellent wrestler as well.
Can't see Dodson winning.

Thank you Anik, the Dodson/Formiga fight was pretty boring until the KO. It was mostly Dodson hopping around like a coked out rabbit and Formiga missing with wild shots

He wasn't hopping around like a coked out rabbit 'cause that would be entertaining. He was just so laid back, it was boring to watch. He did the same thing in the Dillashaw fight before KOing him (Dillashaw was entertaining in that fight, Dillashaw's just an entertaining striker to watch. I've never seen a bantamweight travel greater distances at a quicker speed) and that fight against Tim Elliot was entertaining because Elliot just went HAM on Dodson.
Dodson is not a very active fighter, which is interesting considering that he's a flyweight from all weights.

In my opinion Johnson beat Cruz in the striking, and thats saying something. Johnson arguably gave Cruz a better fight then Faber did.. I think so. Dodson just isn't on the level of most of the people Johnson has faced, not even close. Mighty Mouse is crazy good. Seeing him fight live in Toronto looked like I was watching a fight in fast forward.
