Demian Maia has gone back to doing what he does best which is apparently twisting your neck until you bleed from the mouth. Sick sub, tap or die situation.

@Cthulu Yeah I didn't like much Maia the striker, I mean is great that he improved his boxing that's always necesary, but he wanted to strike only, when he should've used it to help his grappling be it to get takedowns or prepare his subs on the ground, anyway I'm glad he is focusing on his BJJ and I still expect him to use his striking every now and then but he is an elite grapples and that should be his game.
this was a great victory, Story is a tough fighter and not easily finished, in fact I think this was the first time he was finished, that shows how good Maia is

Maia has the best BJJ in the welterweight division. I fear for anyone that goes to the ground with him.

Give Maia a fight with Mike Pierce. Wouldn't mind seeing Pierce get put to sleep.

He looked amazing last night. I hope all of his detractors are starting to reconsider their opinions after his last two performances, he's back to his old self.

I'm glad Maia has started to use his groundgame more again. Still I can't see him cracking the top 5 in the wrestler heavy WW division.

I'd like to see him fight Gunnar, that'd be a sweet grappling battle.

As long as he sticks to his strengths, he could make a run for the title. In his last couple losses, he tried to strike with his opponent.

I wasn't sure how Maia would do at ww after the Kim fight just because it ended so weird but he certainly made his presence known last night. The ww division has been kinda stale lately so it will be nice to see Maia shake it up a little

another fighter who deserves a chance at the WW title.  We all know the ufc hates asians. its an 85% decision lose rate for them. they are not letting a cuban fight bisping unless bisping has some mad power and said he rather fight jacare. he is cuban (romero) and Maia is brazillian and they don't want to let him fight woodley b/c woodley knows he can beat wonder boy. He would probably lose to maia. The ufc sure is looking mighty racist to me. These new owners need to get rid of baldy (DW) b/c he is bad for business. When he retires or gets fired you watch how many books come out about what ************* he is and a back stabber. Too many instances to say in one post.
