He can't dominate Maynard like that, Pettis is faster and less predictable than Diaz ... those are just two examples where his game plan would be different, which might affect his performance (for good or for bad, who knows) ...
Edgar, for instance, is much faster than Diaz and has better footwork and you saw how Bendo looked against him.
I think that Diaz, once people aren't intimidated by him is a bit easier to figure out ... especially if you're a strong wrestler (Rory, Maynard, Bendo). He comes straight forward and relies on volume and precision, which will work against strikers like Cerrone or 2nd-tier guys like Miller ... But both Diaz' have the same weaknesses and that's why both of them will lose 9 times out of 10 to their respective champions ... each currently has their perfect kryptonite atop their divisions.
Do you see GSP/Nick going any other way? (minus the knee-jabs :) ) Diaz is a slower, more predictable version of Condit (who doesn't kick) and you saw how GSP mostly dominated him (Condit also displayed a VERY active guard which GSP dealt with fantastically just for those who say Diaz is going to submit him).

That was unfortunate. So, that's that. It was Ben's over-all tools and skills that over-whelmed Nate. But I still love Nate. He will come back and win a lot of great fights and continue his fine career.

Anyway, that's classic Diaz, they never lose to a better fighter ... Condit ran and Nate was just waiting for his eye to "repair" itself and then he'd have kicked Bendo's ass ... oh, and of course he didn't REALLY go for the submissions, he went 70% in a championship fight where he was losing and a sub was his only chance of winning ... aha ... whatever ...
Nate could've had an extra eye on his forehead and he'd still be dominated by Bendo ...
