Rashad Evans said he would drop to Middle weight to fight :) I think him dropping would make this division a little more competitive...Thoughts?

Evans should definitely get a top 10 guy immediately, but I feel he needs 1-2 wins at middleweight before the title shot. Middleweight is a better division for him though, he is quite small at LHW.

If the cut goes well he can be a force at 185, although he might lose his speed advantage he has at 205 over almost everybody...

thinking about it. evans and jardine both heavyweighs on tuf2, jardine was 205 by the finale, rashad had to fight at 265 for the finale. Jardine has just gone down to 185- evans is copying him! /end trolling

Rashad was a heavyweight just to get on TUF and get that UFC contract. He immediately moved down to LHW. Florian fought at MW on the first TUF as did Sanchez, Koscheck, and Karalexis (i think he made it down to featherweight). Mike Swick was a LHW on TUF as well and now at WW.

nice, if silva beats sonnen theres no clear #1 contender.
Rashad would get the next shot while the next one is lined up.

I don´t think Vitor deserves a title shot, even if he defatead Rashad, but that´d be a good fight though

IF Rashad moves down I think he should get the winner of Silva/Sonnen. Rashad is better then Munoz, Weidman, Bisping, Belfort, Lombard or anybody else at mw.

Rashad is also 32 years old. Cutting might take a few times to get use to for him. It's basically the same situation as Kenny Florian cutting to FW.
