Gray Maynard definitely made me a big fan tonight. What he did in that 4th round was so freaking BADASS.

Clay Guida is going into the **** list, this was an awful showing. I did not expect him to run away from Gray for the whole night. This was worse than Anderson/Demian because in that fight, Anderson was just bored. Guida's legitimate gameplan was to run away from Gray. At least Condit landed a lot of strikes, Clay's landed nothing and he's just running in circles. Gray Maynard was there to fight, Clay Guida was there to win. AND GRAY WON ANYWAY!

wasn't a big Maynard fan before this, but I am a supporter now.

plus maynard complaining about eye pokes when he was grabbing guida's hair. no wonder he wanted guida's hair a certain way. the bully is over-rated and will be beaten easily. let cerrrone fuq him up.

i wish Dan Mirogliotta showed up to the ring in a Gray Maynard t-shirt.

Clay Guida's performance tonight is easily the most despicable performance I've ever seen live. No doubt about it. I HATE Clay Guida.

And just to think, I thought he was a gamer. I thought he had heart. I thought he was a fighter first.

As for your idiotic reasoning wolf, that's exactly what it is; idiotic. You don't win fights based off of who was bloody or who landed the best kick and punch (which btw was landed by Guida after Gray dropped his hands and told him to stop being a little *****).

Gray's definitely been growing on me.  Far from being a favourite, but the dude's a warrior.

Guida on the other hand, I've never liked and am even growing to hate.

Just blame Guida's recent performances on Greg Jackson. That is the person who started him off on this tangent of "footwork" and "head-movement"

I had him winning the last 3, and his cardio was there as well, but I still don't like him that much. His Diaz/Hunt style in round 4 was awesome though. If he would have finished that choke it would have been a sub of the year candidate.

Honestly, Maynard could have probably stood in the middle of the cage and put his hands down and Guida still probably wouldn't have been able to hit him.

I didn't know that scraping the nose of Maynard counted as a strike.

I guess it does. According to fightmatrix though Guida landed more. Maynard missed a ton. His feet and hands are soooo slow. Benson would wreck him and Frankie would KO him.

@P4P those are some baseless allegations. Frankie is still only 1-1-1 against Maynard, and almos getting KO'D twice, 1-2 punches away. Guida is just freaky fast. So, juxtaposed to Maynard, he looked slow, but Maynard sure didn't have problems with Edgar in the first 2 fights and most of the 3rd fight. Maynard can bang with anyone in the division and make it a good fight.
