That should be a good fight.  On the feet Hardy can probably get the better of it, but if Amir takes it to the ground, Hardy might be in trouble.

I concur with AnAlias.  And it is hard to imagine that if Amir gets into trouble on the feet, he won't take it down.  Then we'll get to see what Hardy has been talking about when he says he's been working hard on his ground game.  We'll see.

Sounds like a good fight.  I like both fighters.

Amir doesn't have the power to KO Hardy... if it stays on the feet... Hardy wins. If it goes to the ground... Amir wins. It just depends on if Amir wants to kickbox all night or not.

Amir could put together a combination that puts Hardy down, but Hardy has more raw power and I'm sure I'll take him in this fight

Gonna be a good match up if Hardy can stay on his feet and bang it out. Amir gets it on the ground Hardy will walk away with a broken arm or going to sleep cause he wont tap. Would like to see them bang it out though. Fan of both guys but wanna see hardy do good.

I agree... if it stays standing.. it will be FOTN.. a great war.  Amir is no damn slouch... just not a lot of power.. 3 round war coming right up!

This is an easy win for Hardy, and I am a fan of Amir.

Easy?  What if Amir comes in w/ a game plan and takes it to the ground?

I'm not a firm believer in MMA math, but Amir lost a decision to Bang Ludwig when he was -400 to win (Bang picked him apart on the feet).  Hardy tko'd Bang in the 1st (lines were -115/+110).  He could have taken Bang down, right?

Idk I feel it's a hit or miss. It's like Demian Maia. When the guy wants to take it to the ground he will completely out class people, but he decides to stand and bang and his fans mind's are blown wondering *** he is doing.

Stop using gambling odds... it makes no sense in picking a real winner.  Like I said in my previous post... "It depends if Amir wants to kickbox all night".  My only thing is.. this is in no way an easy fight for Hardy.  I believe he wins.. but to say its an easy fight ... idk boss man.

Don't down me... If you guys think this in an "easy win" for Hardy.. down me.. if you think it will be slightly competitive.. w/ hardy or amir winning..  up me.

i remember the guy who used gambling odds to argue with me on the Diaz/Condit fight... he was an osshole. but my buddies supported team hd. and needless to say i won that argument.

but seriously this fight i think will continue the streak for Hardy

The only reason I included the odds was to point to the consensus opinion of who the favorite was thought to be.  The odds were that Amir would dominate Bang and he didn't.  The odds also thought Hardy/Bang would be a close fight, and it wasn't.

I really don't have a horse in this race, it just struck me as being very favorable to Hardy.

Understood.  I just think there are no easy wins for anyone in the UFC.  But I understand now where you're coming from @ben.

This should be a good stand up fight. Hardy will need to be mindful of avoiding being caught in the MT clinch with Sadollah.
