Week 24 of the 2012 MVP of Tapology is over and all the results are in.
The results are on the first page, below this message.
Those events are still pending and will be added later:
Tear Up: 9
CFX 20
ICE 54
Each week, only the top 10 players of each team count in the team total.
A "MVP week" goes from thuesday midnight to thuesday midnight and includes all the events that go official during this time.
I will NOT post updates during the week. The pending events will be added in the next MVP week.
We use the regular Tapology scoring system, with bonus points.
For the regular players:
Winning a UFC event : 250 points
Winning an event (with at least 3 fights) : 50 points
*If you're the only one to win the event, you have 50 more points
First place in a MVP weekend : 250 points
Second place in a MVP weekend : 100 points
Third place in a MVP weekend : 50 points
For the Zuffa/Bellator players:
Winning a UFC event : 250 points
Winning a Zuffa/Bellator event : 50 points
*If you're the only one to win the event, you have 50 more points
First place among the Zuffa players in the weekly Zuffa standing : 250 points
Second place among the Zuffa players in the weekly Zuffa standing : 100 points
Third place among the Zuffa players in the weekly Zuffa standing : 50 points
For the teams:
Winning the week : 250 points
Making a trade/switch : -500 points
Lineup:

IF the Sons can close the gap to less than 2,500. We will let the last week play out. That's a very small chance though.

I'd like to appolagise to the punk rockers for my performance the last few weeks:
My tablet caught fire (i only wish this was the first time i did this to technology, its getting expensive) so iv had very limited internet acsess- my phone wont let me write on the forums, making picks has been slow and annoying- had to resort to blind guessing on several cards becuase couldnt research. and iv been utterly ****** by card changes.
anyway, new laptop arrived last night, netbook not tablet so should be a bit more robust (seriously on fire within 6 months what the **** is that about), just in time to make one last stand.
@messiah- hows the search for captains for the new league going?

last post on this thread on first page at 12:40 am. this is the last week of mvp league. the ITL starts next week. you wil be held accountable. written by the commish of the league, messiah himself.

@wolf you already said you aren't going to use the sig I gave you, you already squelched on it. So I don't really care what you do. And I care even less about your opinion of what I am doing, if you don't like it go cry about it somewhere else. I've also announced at least 10 times that it would be called after week 26 and that I would call it early IF the Wolves had an insurmountable lead, if they cut more than half your lead off, they'd still have a chance, and thus I'd let it go for the last week. Deal with it.
The chances of them outscoring you this week by more than 3,500 points is slim to nil. If they ccan do that, they deserve the last week.

I think Im going to take a break from picking every card until the next contest starts since neither i nor my team has a shot to win. Also hopefully this break will re energize my picking kind of like the beginning of this contest did.

@live We decided to go against the break since Wake is still doing the yearly leader board. Also he reminded me how last year New Year's only had 2 events, if we take a break our championship weekend would be on that weekend, and that would be no good.

Am I a part of the International Tapology thing or am I done? I thought I did alright managing to get third for the Zuffa/Bellator guys but that was a small group of players so who knows.
