Looks like the hype train aka Jake Ellenberger is done. People are so quick to overeact over a few wins.

I wouldn't say Ellenbergers hypetrain is dead. Kampmann has an insane chin and it saved him tonight and the second Kampmann showed why he's always been a top 10 fighter and that his losses were really him making gameplan mistakes except for Sanchez which was complete ********.

Kampmann was definitely flash KO'd for a second but as soon as he hit the ground he was moving his head and trying to grab guard...when Ellenberger dropped he grabbed his nose that just got knee'd, and turned his head.

Really fun fight though...I think it deserved FOTN over Lawrence/Cofer.

Even though I wanted Ellenberger to win, I had no problem of Kampmann winning cause hes Consistent...He lost to Sanchez and Shields, which I feel should have been W's under his belt as well..Hats off to the HIT MAN and this loss will only help Ellenberger in the long run..

I agree with Kampann being a top 10 guy. He's a stud and always has been. I just felt like some were speaking about Ellenberger like he was going to run through the ww division and go on and beat GSP. You just can't be so quick to react because a guy looks good in a few fights.

Now I see that I screwed myself out of a possible top spot finish. I like Kampmann, I believe in Kampmann and I was half-expecting him to get beat up and make a come back. In fact I was originally going to have him win via sub or a TKO in late rounds (4th or 5th). BUT I ultimately decided to go with the "safe pick", Ellenberger while rooting for Kampmann. Plus, "it's only 50 points, you know, what difference can it possibly make." Well, as it turns out, quite a difference. But then again the last time I decided to go with such a guy, Miller, he got subbed in a very dominating fashion by Nate Diaz.

But I'm still happy. Aside from that and the Winslow finish, I got all the other winners right and my most important pick, Chiesa, did get the upset and for me, the Perfect. And, what's most important, I saw a really good card full of hungry, determined fighters and definite finishes (again, except for the Winslow Finish, but that shouldn't count). What else could I ask for.

Well, maybe a couple of ribbons that are still eluding me:).
