Joe Proctor Wiki

Joe Proctor was working construction when a friend suggested trying out jiu jitsu. So Proctor began training at Lauzon's MMA. He fell in love with it and would make his MMA debut in 2008 for Reality Fighting. He would win his first 4 fights including a win for the American Fighting Organization's Lightweight title. However he would lose the belt in his next fight which was also his first loss against Luis Felix. He would bounce back with 3 straight wins including a win over Matt Bessette for the Reality Fighting Lightweight title.

He would then make it on The Ultimate Fighter 15 eventually losing in the quarter finals to James Vick. He would still get a shot and fought on the finale of the show, picking up a win over Jeremy Larsen. He would drop a decision in his next bout to another TUF fighter Ramsey Nijem. In his next bout he would again face a TUF fighter picking up the win over Cristiano Marcello

Looking to make it two straight when he faced Justin Salas at UFC Fight Night 45, he would get the win via TKO in the 2nd round. Following the Salas fight, Proctor would be scheduled to face Yancy Medeiros at the Ultimate Fighter 20 season finale. He would go on to lose the fight via guillotine choke in the first round.
