Georges will be #1 on my ranking until hes beat or announces his retirement only time I remove someone from my rankings is when its announced they will be fighting in a different weight class or their performance suggests they should drop

gsp should not be anybodys #1 or even on the list. over 13 months of inactivity and it looks  like he won't even fight until the end of the year which would make it almost 20 months of inactivity. sorry, no gsp for me. plus he will lose to whoever is the interim title belt holder. the record of fighters with long layoffs and surgery's is awful.

Not everyone does their rankings according to activity. The fact remains that GSP is the undisputed Champ, and he's coming back. Therefore, he's still number one until he loses.

he will lose and i will put my real money on him vs your real money. whatever the moneyline is. i have shown enough of my sports wagering tickets on the twitter thread to prove i'm the real deal.  you game?

@Wolf, you have to remove Diaz then, as he's gonna be out for a long time?

I agree with Pierce. Very underrated. Arguably beat Koscheck and Hendricks. Cant remember the hendricks fight, but he definitely took the Koscheck one imo.

I need to update my ranking but since GSP is #1 I just cant out him, if he was #7 or something then I would out him.

I put GSP out of the #1 spot b/c he hasn't faught in a year.. otherwise he is the obvious choice.

These are my new updated rankings after taking into account inactivity, improvement (especially in the case of Rory), and who they've actually beat & lost to with emphasis on finishes and dominant performances outweighing controversial or close decisions.

Last time I checked nobody has beaten (or come close) to beating GSP. As far as all the GSP haters go I'm sorry but Condit will not be the one either. But I'm sure that after Condit gets beat you will all jump on the Jonny Hendricks bandwagon in hopes he's "the one" to dethrone Georges. Someday GSP haters someday......

I actually think even with the long layoff GSP will still come back and dominate Condit for 5 rounds

This ranking is easy to me...If Georges is on it he's #1...if you take fighters off because of inactivity (thats fine its your ranking) then he shouldn't be on the ranking anywhere

so you know for certain that reconstructed knee will be 100 % next time he fights? i would bet even gsp would have doubts and when you have doubts you lose.

But GSP has to be number one for me too. I have to update my rankings since Kampmann vs Ellenberger. Where do i put Kampmann and how far do i drop Ellenberger?!
