I may be ranking this card undeservedly high. But it had all the ambience of an old Pride PPV, so for me, it's the card to beat so far for 2012. There have been very few disappointing cards this year. In fact, it's probably been the most violent and glorious half year of MMA I can remember. Having said that, this was one of those cards that delivered excitement from top to bottom. What could be better than watching the hushed Japanese crowd erupt when "The Fireball Kid" Takanori Gomi got a KO in the UFC in his home country?

The most stacked card of the year, and possibly ever. All heavyweight main card delivered better than imagined, and the "undercard" could have been made into two UK main cards. Great names and great fights.
