Get rid of the ring side judges and start scoring the fight with fightmetric.com.. I know fightmetric doesn't show octagon control and some other things but the website gets the winner right more times then the judges.

I think they should have a trial period where they give the judges monitors to see if it helps at all. I'm not sure why they're so against it. There must be some reason. I can only think of positives coming from giving the judges monitors though. Makes more sense than the judges looking through a cage, a referee, and camera men.

Also MMA should have its own commission with MMA judges, whether its ex MMA fighters, MMA journalists, or people that train MMA.

Part of it I think is just the need for agreement on more specific criteria on scoring.
What is a takedown worth? If the guy who was taken down immediately escapes to his feet, should that count equally in the round?
Right now judges are left to make up their own minds on a lot of this stuff. Some judges think low kicks are important, others don't, etc.
Agreed that Fight Metric does a solid job.
