This is a pretty good match up. Johnson has improved leaps and bounds from when he was on TUF so I see this match up being pretty even.

While I thought Johnson looked much improved in his last fight, particularly in his movement and striking, I think Ferguson is a more powerful and natural striker and unless Johnson's improved movement allows him to hit seamless transition tds I still think Ferguson takes this.

Johnson is one of those fighters that is inconsistent, sort of like Pat Barry. He has a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. He looked so good against Brookins and Sass early on, he knocked them both down in the first. Bad decisions in each fight caused him to lose later on. He faded against Roller as well. I agree it's close, but I'm going with Ferguson here. He handled Yves Edwards for three rounds, that's enough for me.

I think Ferguson's gonna decapitate Johnson with the video-game punch.
By the way, if anyone wonders why I call him Tony "The Street Fighter" Ferguson and why I always say he'll win via video-game punch, it's because he throws his uppercuts like Ken from the Street Fighter series.

I went from thinking Michael Johnson wasn't any good, and didn't think he should be in the UFC, to thinking that he's a solid lower level LW. However, I don't think he's on Tony's level. I think Tony could get a KO/TKO, but i wouldn't be surprised if this goes to decision.

Tony's got this one way more consistant, better cardio, better technically, bigger power, better ground game.... Pretty much he has got way more in this arsenal i think

He's also got SICK takedown defense, which is the key to ending Johnson' night.

Ferguson wins this, its not gonna prove anything. I think he was much more powerful at WW.

Much easier fight for Ferguson than Tavares.
