Prediction: this fight's gonna be quite similar to Gomi vs. Gracie....

Gegard's TD defense isn't great. But this could very well end up like Jacare vs Mousasi.

Gegard tko/ko, he's got great striking and can **** people up from his guard (though I wouldnt recomend it against a gracie.

Not seeing this as a good fight for Roger yet...unless he gets it to the ground obviously he can sub anyone there...It'll definitely be his biggest test on the feet to date...I don't really get it though

Mousasi doesn't seem to have the greatest takedown defence and Roger will be the bigger fighter probably looking to take this fight to the ground as soon as the opportunity presents itself. The fight starts standing so Mousasi will start with the advantage, but I could see Roger getting in close on him and taking him down. I might actually be picking Roger to pull off the upset with a submission win here, but I think a Mousasi T(KO) is more likely. I like this fight.

It does seem like Roger is being rushed. But one thing: Don't the fighters have to agree to take the fight? i.e. if Roger has agreed to the fight he must think he has a decent chance of taking the W?

Either way, probably the best grappler in all MMA vs one of the best strikers, sounds like an exciting match up.
