Striking, then wrestling, then grappling. Nice stuff!

Awsome. He goes for the front head kick at the end of the striking portion, sweet.

Machida did seem to be a little strong for Anderson from the top position, while Anderson looked to have better timing on the feet to me. That would be a great fight. Too bad it will NEVER EVER EVER HAPPEN!!!

Two of my favorite fighters, awesome to watch.

Silva is a huge 185 guy.

Would be an interesting fight.. but boring. Both men know each other so well they would have the timing down and would be hesitant to throw.

Silva is a Giant man - I don't see how the UFC can pit him against GSP

@bklettke this is exactly what I have been saying all along! Anderson is deceptively huge, he just doesn't give people that impression first glance because he doesn't have the most athletic physique. Seeing him next to Machida just shows how big the guy really is. That being said if GSP is given enough time to put on muscle he should be able to use his wrestling pretty well.

I might be inclined to disagree for this fact. Despite the Sonnen fight in which he was injured Anderson has some pretty sick TDD. Chael really only shot a double leg once without using the cage to finish the takedown. GSP has never been known for using the cage alot for his TD's, just primarily his timing. Granted guys like Leites or Maia aren't exactly great at shooting in for TD, i can still see Anderson stuffing most of them and putting a on a striking clinic. I fear for GSP's health and pychological state if they actually fight. Anderson is massive, if someone could find a pic of the staredown with Forrest that'd be a good comparison. He's nearly as big as Griffin who is known as one of the largest LHW's in the division.

It's also unfortunate that the Silva fight took place befor GSP Sheilds. If GSP does beat sheilds he is going to have less time to prepare for the fight and add muscle mass. If GSP is going to have a chance against the much bigger Silva, he is going to have to bulk up. I still think there are alot of variables in the way of the of the Silva, Pierre fight happening, sheilds for one, but also both fighters being able to make it to the superfight without injuries, I have a feeling this fight only has a small window of oppritunity as it would be bad business for the UFC to shelf two of their champions and biggest ppv draws for an extended period of time.

I liked how we would all love to see this fight and all the guys in the back ground of the video aren't even paying attention since they've seen them rolling countless times!

People are acting like GSP is going to be putting on 40 pound of pure muscle.

Really, the fight could happen very soon but the UFC is going to continue to make people want to see it more and more. And as for putting them on the shelf? The UFC will be fine with the adition of the new divisions. They will always have good fights to headline cards without theese two for a little bit.

Could be a good thing for him, not having to lose weight.
