Fitch vs Penn next week would be best as a 5-round fight. Couture-Machida at 129.
Waylon Lowe vs Nik Lentz too.

I know this isnt your question, but still relatively on topic, would the sport be better with the added rounds in non-title fights? Does this lessen the impact of 5 round title fights, would the athletic commission even allow it?
This would instantly make all the lighter weight classes have epic fights though, not that they dont already.

I think it would be a good idea allow fighters a better advantage going into title fights. Also it would allow better scoring for bouts such as the machida rampage fight.

Fitch vs Penn should definitely by 5 rounds, this fight is basically a title fight. After gsp crushes Shields, he'll move up to 185, and vacate his title. Whoever wins this fight basically has no challenges left in the division. I can't wait until Fitch is champ! WAR FITCH!!!

Some people are giving the 3 round fight an advantage to BJ, because he has less time to get grinded out and he'll still have his energy at the beginning of each round to get the KO. The 3 round fight usually gives "grinders" such as Fitch, an advantage, but in BJ's case he tends to gas out at WW after only 2-3 rounds. I'm picking Fitch to win by decision, but it will be a great fight.

I say adopt Pride's round system !! Instead of 5-5-5, make it 10-5-5....
