This was taken last week, two days after the water heater blew up on him. Luckily he was wearing his denim jacket and that actually saved him from catching fire. He only has a few second degree burns in his belly, legs and tail. He's doing fine now, just a little scarred and with no eyebrows, lol.
Poor thing also had surgery when he was only 2 months old, they had to open him up, Doc said wouldn't make it as a baby but he did and is now 2 y.o., he's a true fighter.

I also own Snapper, who is (not surprisingly) a turtle and not really photogenic. He's also a mean, nasty son of a *****, who hates everybody and everything. I think he only tolerates me, because I feed him and clean up after him. The bastard is nearly 40 years old as far as I can tell and I'm expecting him to outlive me.
