This is the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard.

You say you're not rich, then clarify that you own a 2012 bentley?

Okay. I guess being able to afford a $150,000+ car is middle class.

@greg If the pics are supposed to make us have good feelings about him, don't show the picture taken right after letting a man he knew was unconscious drop like a sack of meat. Show action shots, like hitting bonnar with a spinning elbow or something.

@hybrid no those are rubbing it in pics ... all your favorites will fall prey.  light heavyweights to start, then heavyweights for an encore.

Greg your comment made me realize that I tend to favor lighter weight fighters.  I have around 5 LHW/HW fighters in my top40 favorite fighters list.

@greg I really don't like anybody in LHW. I only really like three guys at HW even. And by no means are those guys my favorites. So....bwahaha

Its not a given that Jones will have the success he is having as a LHW at HW.

I'm with you @Greg.

@hybrid, as hard as it was for me to watch Machida (my favorite fighter) get dropped like that, it could have easily been prevented. 1) Lyoto could have tapped. He's a grown man, understands physics enough to know that it's kind of hard to stand erect whilst unconscious. 2) Jones didn't have to drop him, but I didn't see it as being any worse than after Shogun knocked Machida out, landing 3 or 4 shots on a clearly unconscious opponent. That happens frequently to guys who are clearly out, the standing choke isn't a technique we see guys go out from often, I'm sure a lot of fighters would have done the same thing.

For the record I'm not one of those guys who hopes he fails,I think he's a great fighter and on course to be the best ever.My point was..... If you're a ****y disrespectful guy then embrace it,make people laugh and become a character in the sport that people want to watch and listen to!

Yaspaa made the point that he need's acting lessons to portray his humbleness more effectively to the public....why?
People like Prince Naseem Hamed and Ali who were both characters and in their time pretty much the baddest men on the planet were never humble and if they pretended to be and said things like "I believe it was my destiny to be the champion" then people would have called them out just like people are doing to Bones now!

Ok....rant over! peace out ......woo

why do people always overrate Prince Naseem.  guy beat up a lot of journeyman and then took a beating from Barrera and was for all intensive purposes was done.

our hopes of Jones having a similar career came crashing down after he dispatched rampage and then went ahead and choked out Machida (I hate typing this).  Our hopes now are that he plateaus out and people catch up similar as to what happened to Tito after his reign of supremacy came crashing down.
