Now we get into a single division the reason I did this is the 60 pound weight difference between LHW and HW. Here is my list of LHW

  • Chuck Liddell
  • Randy Couture
  • Dan Henderson
  • Wanderlei Silva
  • Rampage Jackson
  • Shogun Rua
  • Jon Jones
  • Lyoto Machida
  • Rashad Evans
  • Tito Ortiz
  • Lil Nog
  • Ricardo Arona
  • Forrest Griffin
  • Guy Mezger
  • Frank Shamrock
  • Vitor Belfort

I actually think Randy would beat Shogun in their primes...As long as Randy can get to the clinch and use his dirty boxing to rough him up

I agree with @soccer, i think Randy could win that fight. He'd have to make it ugly, but he could definitely win that fight, it would be an interesting one for sure.

I think Couture would dirty box the **** out of Shogun tbh.

Henderson  vs. Machida - Perfect match up for Machida, imo. I'd give Hendo a better shot against just about any LHW, Machida would be terrible for him.

Shogun vs. Couture - Tough fight to call, mainly due to Shogun's poor wrestling. He can, however, threaten with subs and sweeps, and in the clinch he has the plum, so I think he'd be fine there, then in the range game, he'd dominate. The Shogun of 2005 had great kicks, something that has kind of gone away with the knee surgeries. Back when he was a whirlwind of destruction he threw all those jumping kicks, those were killer. I think it would be an extremely competitive fight but I stand by my previous statement that the Shogun of 2005 could never meet his match.

I think Dan Henderson would be able to beat Machida.
I don't think he would be able to get the finish but i think he could win a pretty easy UD

@putaforkinya calm down there pal.
Dan Henderson is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time and if anyone can beat Jon Jones then it is him.

EDIT: I am not saying that Dan Henderson would go in and just smack the **** out of Jones and take his belt but Dan Henderson is an amazing MMA fighter and is very well rounded and outside of maybe Rashad Evans i think Hendo would have the best chance.

this is a rematch that definitely needs to happen, I think they should set it up if rashad wins because he is getting the title shot so hendo has to wait anyway

As much as I love most of the names on that list, I think Bones will out do them all.

i still think lyoto would beat hendo, but anyway, i see shogun taking the rematch. this is one of the hardest fights to call though, if not THE hardest given how the first fight went. one thing is for sure, we need shogun vs hendo 2!

If Dan Henderson comes in with better cardio he takes this fight fairly easily.

I already consider Jon Jones one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, He's proven himself more than many former LHW champions, he's right next to anderson silva. I honestly don't see anyone beating Jones anytime soon. He'll go down in SPORTS history.
