I'll start by stating that I think Alex Pereria will win, but I'm so excited to watch Izzy have to be the one who attacks. Once Izzy united the belts after beating Robert Whittiker it seemed like he slowed down. his title defenses against Yoel Romero and Jarred Caonnonier are the best examples. Before he had the belt Izzy was using his reach to poke and prod his opponents from a distance and using swift leg kicks to render them immobile but now he sits outside of reach and just throws leg kicks and maybe a counter hook if his opponent can even get close. But now Izzy has nothing to defend, he's the one that will have to initiate and I'm so excited to see his striking prowess come back.
