Riddell surprised many by clearly outdoing Drew Dober (#14), 2 rounds out of 3, at UFC 263. He is 10-1 overall, 4-0 in the UFC.

Riddell is a weathered fight veteran with too much kick boxing experience. Currently in his prime, at 29,

WHO WILL RIDDELL FIGHT NEXT?

1. Gregor Gillespie (#10) - Riddell is calling for this fight after defeating Dober last week. It was a matchup originally slated for March that got cancelled due to a positive Covid test. Can Riddell stand up to the elite wrestling chops of Gregor? Gillespie is levels above Dober in wrestling and will constantly shoot on the New Zealand kick-boxer. In all likely hood, we will see this fight in the Fall. Do you like this matchup? And how do you think it plays out?

2. Diego Ferreira (#12) - If the UFC has other plans for Gregor Gillespie, another option (for Riddell) is Diego Ferreira. His is the last man to take a loss from Gillespie, last month. Now riding a two-fight losing streak, he is 36 years old, in the back-end of his career. If the UFC does not see star potential in Riddell they may make this fight between two lower-profile guys. Riddell would be able to build his name a little bit more, while still having to deal with a dangerous jiu-jitsu wiz who can throw leather. Is this fight going to happen?
