There is a new MMA Game in town.

Here is how it works. You pick 20 fighters. It lasts a year. You start with 10,000 Monopoly dollars. This game is based on the fighters and the moneylines. Whoever has the most money is the winner. I'll use this fight as an example. Jason miller is +185. Say you choose him and wager 500 dollars. that would return 925 dollars in profit  if he won and your total would be 10,925. If you choose Bisping and he is around -225 and you wagered 675 dollars on him and he won you would get 300 dollars profit and you would have 10,300. Of course if they lose you would deduct what you lost from 10,000. no draft either. Pick any 20 fighters you want and send them to me or Poir420 who is co-comish.

 

A couple of rules are you have to wager at least 500 dollars per fight. There is no max so if you think that fighter has no chance of losing put all your "fake" monopoly money on him. if you lose thats the end of the game for you. You will need some money management skills to win. You can pick as many women as you want too. If a fighter gets injured there are no replacements. So you start with 20 and might end up with 10 left if you have bad luck. I got three people interested so far and i was goig to have 10 people  play but if there is more interest i will raise the number of people on Tapology that can play. If Vagner Rocha was an underdog against Brookins I would definitely bet on him.

That's awesome!  I'll wait for betting lines to come out to make more bets though.

@justyn me and wolf talked it over and this makes it more realistic, everyone can bet on any fight as long as there is a moneyline to find. This is a new thing we started so we are working out things as we go. More bets may mean more people lose their money and are out of the game. And as I said in the post before if you do go bankrupt you get one shot to pick a fight if you get it right you get $10k back if not your out til next year and this can only be done once

the fuel event in four days. you can now wager on anybody. ellenberger, sanchez, herman, struve etc.............. no more fighter lists. wager on anybody you want.

I'm not even sure if I will bet on this card, I might place a small bet on Sanchez but I could see alot of these fights going either way, not real confident in anyone

@buffalo ben had to cancel your bet on Yoislandy Izquierdo looks like he is not on this card anymore, I think he is having contractual issues with the current promotion he was fighting for

Damn no line on Simpson/Markes yet

The powers that be usually add the rest of the moneylines mid week so hopefully we see something tomorrow on them

@soccer who your taking? simpson is the safe bet but he is geting close to 38 years old. i might take the young guy. he has an impressive record.
