Colossally Pointless Rant Incoming:
So my family is Belizean and I've been browsing boxrec a lot recently. While I was looking through the wiki I found a section where you could sort champions by nationality. I was curious so I searched for Belizean champions and there was only one by the name of Verno Phillips. His record pro record was 42 - 11 so I kinda brushed him off and assumed he was a nobody. I was about to leave the page but when I glanced at his trainers I noticed Trevor Wittman and I was like ***?? Trevor Wittman of all people trained the only Belizean world champion? So I googled "Trevor Wittman Verno Philips" and found this really old interview (figured I would share it here).
Anyways rant over hopefully I didn't make make too many grammar mistakes.
P.S - I'm still a filthy casual when it comes to boxing so if Verno Phillips is some very well known name don't @ me.
