Nikon P1000 Update:

Took this photograph of a Kookaburra on auto settings at a distance of about 150FT. Not touched up/enhanced. It was raining, overcast, poor lighting, and I'm ********. Given all that, it turned out pretty well. Image is after converting it to meme format also. Lost a bit of quality in the exchange.

Pretty good camera so far for the money. Got in on sale for about 1300$ AUD.Telescopic Zoom is indeed ridonkulous. Would recommend if you want to take very long-distance shots, and don't want to spend a fortune on a  telephoto lense/ aren't looking for super high-res pics.

Akron Ohio's entire Fourth of July weekend has been cancelled. Protesting over a police shooting is going on instead lol. The kid took them on a high speed chase and shot at the officers. Then 8 different officers put 80 rounds in him and now his family is on the news making him out to be a saint. according to them he did nothing wrong.

@****les Birds and birding might merit their own thread.  I watched this poor little black-and-white fellow get chased off the suet by the red-wing blackbirds and a woodpecker this morning.  Nature's drama at it's most cutthroat.  Where is a little fellow to go for legal recourse?
