Juan Mata was a great signing for Chelsea, unlike Fernando Torres, but I don't see Chelsea winning the Championship this season, they are still in a sort of rebuilding phase. Manchester United is not as strong as expected, so I think that Manchester City is the favorite this season, despite today's loss.

I didn't expect Man Utd to be as strong as last season......with Paul Scholes retiring they never replaced him with an extremely skilled passing midfield general such as Wesley Sneijder,Bastian Schweinsteiger etc........Chelsea need a solid centre back with pace and a creative centre mid like Luka Modric! Man City dont need anyone but they have alot of egos in their dressing room.....that being said,they still win the league imo

It almost looked like that they were going to sign Wesley Sneijder, he would have been a great addition to the midfield, maybe next summer...

Sneijder would have been bad for United. (well not bad, but unneeded) He plays a number 10 role Rooney already plays and isnt capable of doing anything else. At Inter, the whole team was built around Sneijder. He is no doubt one of the best footballers in the world, but he cant be placed in to a random team and do well. Man United need to start playing Jones and Smalling CB, Rios getting on abit and Vidic is out for the season. They need a good defensive midfielder and a good playmaker to replace Keane and Scholes respectively (Fletcher never replaced Keane). Cleverly looked good though.

I wanna see Kenny play a 4231 again; Im so annoyed that Lucas is out and Spearings got a red. If he plays Adam DM I might physically curl up into a ball and die; he is awful at defending. I hope he moves Agger DM - hes got the tech and ability - and plays Carragher - Coates/Skertl/Kelly. Kellys a CB by trade so he could be good.
