UFC Fina-*******-lly released Renan Barão after dropping what, 5 or 6 straight fights. It's what was needed.
Liz Carmouche was also released apparently.. I'd understand if that's true as well. UFC just trimming excess fat for the new year I guess . .

Yeah it sucks but it's right. I would have preferred for him to go out on his own terms but it had to be done.....not that what the UFC has allowed BJ Penn to get away with doesn't expose a massive hypocrisy though.

I think Carmouche is the 1st time UFC releasse a top 5 ranked. maybe she was winning a bigger salairie then the average women 125pds

Carmouche is an OG but that extremely boring performance against Valentina doomed her ufc career.

Every girl in the 125pds roster fight boring or get badly knock out when they fought Shevchenko. Barber and Araujo seems the only hope for now.

I agree. There's tons of guys I can think of, that HAVE BEEN ready for the UFC... But, they keep guys on the roster that literally just take up another guy's spot. Like Matt Wiman. After that horrendous performance against Luís Pena, I was surprised they gave him another fight.
